Search For €5.4 Million Irish Lotto Jackpot Winner
Irish Lotto players have been pushed to check their tickets after a jackpot of €5.4 million was won on Saturday night. The top prize had been growing for seven draws since it was last given away on 25th November.
One lucky player was given the perfect Christmas present as they matched all six main numbers.
Winning Irish Lotto Numbers
The winning Irish Lotto numbers on Saturday were 5, 14, 28, 29, 32 and 38, with Bonus Ball 31. Over 42,000 prizes were picked up in total, but the glory went to a single participant. Irish national Lottery officials are now on the lookout for the big winner.
Furthermore, it has been announced that the winning Quick Pick ticket was bought on Friday at Dublin Airport, in the WHSmith shop in the arrivals area of terminal one.
“This was one of the busiest days of the year in arrivals and the ticket could have been bought by somebody coming home for Christmas, by a friend or relative meeting a loved one, or an airport worker,” said National Lottery CEO Dermot Griffin. “This is going to be a very special Christmas indeed for that lucky person.”
