After the latest EuroMillions draw, a lucky winner has come forward to claim the full £40 million jackpot prize.

National Lottery announced that a lucky winner has won the top cash prize following Tuesday night’s draw. The winner will take home roughly £41 million (€34 million). It has not been revealed whether it was a single ticket holder or an organisation. This will only be revealed if they decide to go public with the win.

The winning numbers were 32, 31, 38, 18 and 48, while the Lucky Stars were 12 and 04.

This will be the seventh person or group to have won the life-changing EuroMillions jackpot this year alone.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said: ‘One very lucky UK ticket-holder has scooped tonight’s entire £40 million EuroMillions jackpot.

‘This massive win follows hot on the heels of Steve and Lenka Thomson, who won an incredible £105 million last month.

‘Tonight’s big winner has scooped the seventh EuroMillions jackpot banked in the UK this year.’

In November, parents of three Steve and Lenka Thomson received £105 million prize. They planned to use the money to buy a new house for the family.

Furthermore, by purchasing a ticket for EuroMillions, or any other National Lottery game, every player is helping to raise on average £30M every week for projects across the UK. This includes funding everything from local community projects to supporting the nation’s athletes.
