EuroMillions Jackpot Won By French Player
A single ticket holder in France won the full EuroMillions jackpot worth over £31 million. There were also two French winners in the second prize tier, while another millionaire was made in the supplementary My Million draw.
88th Jackpot Winner From France
The winning numbers on Tuesday 19th June were 7, 19, 26, 42 and 50, plus the Lucky Stars 4 and 9. The French player was the only ticket holder to match all seven numbers, becoming the country’s 88th jackpot winner. France are now one ahead of Spain in the total number of EuroMillions jackpot winners per country. The UK, meanwhile, are still in third place on 72 winners.
It is not yet known where the winning line was purchased. The recipient of the eight-figure windfall now has 60 days from the date of the draw to come forward and claim their EuroMillions prize.
Five Jackpot Winners This Month
This is the fifth time a ticket has won the EuroMillions jackpot this month, following three consecutive top prize winners earlier in June. A £69 million jackpot was shared between two ticket holders in Spain and Portugal on Friday 1st June. A syndicate-winning ticket from Ireland taking home £14 million only four days later. The incredible run of top prize winners continued in the next draw as a ticket holder in Spain won £14 million on Friday 8th June.
There have been four previous months when seven players have won the EuroMillions jackpot, most recently in September 2016. June 2018 could still become the most successful month in EuroMillions history with another three draws to go.
