The mystery lottery winner sitting on a £123m EuroMillions fortune has finally come forward to claim their prize.
It is the third biggest amount ever to be scooped by a UK player and the fourth EuroMillions jackpot win this year.
The National Lottery says a UK ticket-holder has staked a claim for a jackpot of £123,458,008 from the draw on June 11.
Andy Carter is the senior winners’ adviser at National Lottery. He says: “This is the third biggest win ever on The National Lottery.
Furthermore, he adds: “We now look forward to helping the ticket-holder start to enjoy their new-found wealth.”
Camelot did not reveal is the winner was an individual or a syndicate. As a result, if the winner is an individual, they would be catapult into the Sunday Times Rich List of the 1,000 wealthiest people living in the UK.
What other wins have there been of recent?
Patrick and Frances Connolly, from Northern Ireland, won a £114.9million EuroMillions jackpot in the New Year’s Day draw.
Furthermore, Ade Goodchild, from Hereford, banked £71million in March and an anonymous ticket-holder took home £35.2million in April.
Also, the biggest ever UK winners are Colin and Chris Weir from Largs in North Ayrshire, Scotland, who won £161million in July 2011. That’s some life-changing money.
