There is a search in Boston and Skegness for the £76m lottery winner.

The EuroMillions ticket was bought somewhere in the parliamentary constituency of Boston and Skegness, said organizers.

It matched five main numbers and two Lucky Star numbers to win the entire £76,369,806 jackpot in the draw on 2 November.

Furthermore, if the ticket holder does not come forward by 1 May, the prize will be the UK’s biggest unclaimed jackpot.

“This is the biggest ever unclaimed prize, so there’s been quite a lot of interest,” said a National Lottery spokesperson.

The previous largest unclaimed jackpot was in 2012 when a ticket owner in Hertfordshire missed out on a £64m prize.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline the prize money, plus the interest it has generated, will go to lottery-funded projects.

The winning numbers from the draw were 5, 15, 17, 37, 44. The Lucky Star numbers were 7 and 11.

In addition, Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery, said…

“We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket holder and unite them with their winnings…

“We’re urging everyone to try checking in the pockets of clothing…

“In wallets, bags, down the back of the sofa and anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding…

In conclusion, “Someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.”
